Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of pressure sores healing prescription in prevention and treatment of pressure sores in bedridden patients. Methods Of 150 bedridden patients at neurosurgery department included in this study, 100 cases without pressure sores were randomly divided into the Group A(n=50, receiving routine prevention and No.1 pressure sores healing prescription)and Group B(n=50, receiving routine prevention ), and another 50 cases with pressure sores were randomly divided into the Group C(n=25, receiving routine treatment and No.2 pressure sores healing prescription)and Group D(n=25,receiving routine treatment). The incidence of pressure sores was compared between Group A and Group B. The overall efficacy on pressure sores healing were evaluated and compared between Group C and Group D. Results There was no case with pressure sores in group A and group B. The overall efficacy of pressure sores healing treatment was higher in the group C that that in the group D. Conclusion Pressure sores healing prescription is advantaged to prevent the pressure sores in bedridden patients. It is also easy to use and well tolerated.
