Abstract： Objective To explore the effect of psychological counseling combined with health education on the treatment of coronary heart disease (CHD) patients complicated with anxiety and depression. Methods A total of 62 CHD patients complicated with anxiety and depression were selected and divided into control group and study group, 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with the conventional nursing, while the study group was treated with the psychological counseling combined with health education. The nursing effect was observed. Results After treatment, the scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion For CHD patients complicated with anxiety and depression, the psychological counseling combined with health education can significantly relieve the patients′ adverse emotions such as anxiety and depression.
