Abstract：Objective To investigate the family planning services and nursing programs after abortion. Methods From January 2013 to May 2015, a total of 10, 000 patients with abortion were selected, and they were divided into two groups according to the time of admission. The 4 920 patients selected from January 2013 to February 2014 were selected as control group and treated with high quality family planning services and routine nursing, and the 5 080 patients with abortion from March 2014 to May 2015 were selected as study group and treated with family planning services and personalized nursing intervention. Postoperative incidence rate of complications, the VAS score, SelfRating Anxiety Scale score (SAS), nursing satisfaction rate, and contraceptive rates at postoperative follow up of 1, 3, 6, 12 months were recorded and compared. Results The incidence rate of postoperative complications, VAS score and SAS score in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, but nursing satisfaction rate and contraceptive rates at postoperative follow up of 1, 3, 6, 12 months in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Personalized nursing intervention is effective in treatment abortion patients with high quality family planning services.
