:Objective To investigate the multi-disciplinary(MDT)teaching practice in nursing management of colostomy after surgery for colorectal cancer. Methods 〓Totally 80 nursing students were randomly divided into group A(n=40)and group B(n=40). A MDT-based teaching method was adopted in the group A, while the routine teaching method was carried out in the group B. The result of examination after completion of the course and satisfactory degree on teaching method were compared between two groups. Results 〓The result of examination in group was higher than that in group B(92.45±5.01 vs. 87.67±5.12, P0.05). Nursing students in group A were more satisfied with teaching method than those in group B(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The MDT-based teaching method is potentially effective to improve the teaching efficacy in nursing management of colostomy after surgery for colorectal cancer.
