Increased kiwifruit pollen collection after feeding sugar syrup to honey bees within their hive

Abstract Feeding sugar syrup to honey bee colonies inside their hives doubled their collection of kiwifruit pollen in trials during the 1984 flowering season. There was, however, no significant increase in the colonies' collection of other types of pollen.
