：This paper summarized the nursing management of 28 patients receiving combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine for erysipelas of the lower leg. Patients were given the antibiotics(Penicillins as first choice)and external application of Chinese herbal ointment. Nursing interventions on mental status of patients, clinic environment, dressing change were carried out during treatment. All patients were recovered after 7-10 days of treatment. The combined therapies of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine were effective in treatment of erysipelas of the lower legs. Corresponding nursing measures were equally important for the rehabilitation of patients.
