：Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of self-health management ability in patients with hypertension. Methods 〓Totally 202 patients were surveyed by convenience sampling in two grade-a tertiary hospitals.They were investigated with the rating scale of health self-management skill for adults(AHSMSRS), health literacy scale for chronic patients(HLSCP)and social support rating scale(SSRS). Results 〓The total score of AHSMSRS was(142.07±16.57). Multiple linear regressions showed that the education level, health literacy, subjective support and monthly income were the influencing factors of self-management score ability of health. Conclusion 〓The self-management ability of health of patients with primary hypertension was in middle level. The education level, health literacy, subjective support and monthly income were closely related to the self-management ability of health of patients with primary hypertension.
