口含冰用于改善无创正压通气患者口腔干燥的研究

摘要

：Objective To investigate the effect of holding ice cube in the mouth to relieve the dry mouth in patients with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NPPV). Methods 〓Totally 72 patients undergoing NPPV were randomly assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 36 cases in each group. Patients in both two groups received routine oral care during the treatment with NPPV. In the observation group, patients were asked to holding 2-3 pieces of ice cube(1.6 cm×1.6 cm×1.6 cm, made of normal saline )in the mouth. Results 〓There were several patients developing varying degrees of dry mouth as the continuing treatment with NPPV. There were 17(47.22%)patients in the control group and 7(19.44%)patients with level 2 or more severe dry mouth at day 10 of the treatment(χ2=6.250,P0.05). The compliance rate of treatment and nursing satisfaction rate were higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The method of holding ice cube in the mouth is effective to reduce the risk and severity of dry mouth in patients with NPPV.
