Abstract:Objective To explore difficulties and nursing countermeasures for patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods Totally 100 cases of gestational diabetes mellitus patients were enrolled in this study. The potential nursing difficulties were analyzed in terms of social background, education level, receptivity, comprehension ability, self-control ability and compliance behavior. The diabetes specialist nurse developed an individualized proposal to regulate the maternity blood glucose control and fetal nutrition, and to evaluate the therapeutic effects and adjust the treatment plan. Results The potential difficulties in nursing care of gestational diabetes mellitus patients were solved. The optimal target range for blood glucose in patients was achieved, which could help to prevent the diabetic complication. Conclusion Given the various difficulties in nursing care of gestational diabetes mellitus patients, The targeted nursing intervention should be carried out based on the individualization of patients.
