Abstract:Objective To investigate the psychological intervention effects on pain for patients receiving long-acting octreotide acetate injection. Methods Totally 30 pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor patients receiving long-acting octreotide acetate injection was assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 15 cases in each group. Both two groups received routine care, and the targeted psychological intervention was carried out in the observation group. The pain degree at injection site and satisfaction degree to nursing service were evaluated. Results Patients in the observation had a less pain degree compared with those in the control group(P0.05).The satisfaction rate was higher in the observation group than that in the control group, but with no significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion Psychological intervention can effectively reduce the pain degree at injection site in patients with long-acting octreotide acetate treatment.
