Peculiarities of regional economy in the context of service orientation of the economy.

This article presents the evolution of the role of service in the development of the economy, noted the diversity of approaches to the typology of services that are not uniquely interpreted their place in the territorially-economic area, proposed directions of spatial transformation of the productive structure of the regional economy, identifies possible adjustment for a socio-economic development of a specific region on the basis of its strengths, the notion of service of the region's economy, based on independent development of various types of service, noted the need for a kernel service region to increase the competitiveness of the territory by building a new structure of the regional economy.
