The role of lingul shale as a cap rock for high-viscosity oil (bitumen) deposits.

摘要

In this article we will look throw the feature of spreading of ?Lingul shale? at east of Tatarstan Republic. Based on interpretation of wireline logging the thickness of ?Lingul shale? is not a constant at the west edge of South-Tatar uplift. It is mentioned that ?Lingul shale? sometimes doesn’t appear and sometimes not a good impermeable layer, especially while development of bitumen deposits by heating methods of producing.
