The problems associated with wear and subsequent failure of the drilling tool that arise during the drilling of deep and ultra-deep wells in difficult geological conditions, wells with complex, multi-hop profiles, especially in the depths of modern, waste and drilling conditions of temperature and pressure. Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the cutting fluid, as drilling in which the flushing agent acts as a way of increasing efficiency of the drilling tool. This is achieved by modifying the composition and technological properties of the last. The following is a description of the developed experimental installation to investigate the influence of different environments on the abrasive wear of steel drill bit and tungsten carbide. Evaluated it strengths and weaknesses, on the basis of the research, and the necessity of modernization. The issues of improving the methodology of measuring of force parameters of system “metal-rock” on the experimental installation simulating the elements of the bottomhole assembly. Also in the article shows the feasibility of the experimental installation for the task. The description of the strain gauge system, specifically designed to improve measuring of force parameters of system “metal-rock”.
