Only two months after becoming NASIG vicepresident/president-elect in June 2018, I left my libraryjob of 11 years to take a new position with a softwaredevelopment company. This was a lot to take on all atonce, and I often wondered if I had made the rightchoices and how I would handle it all. But as theconference got into swing in Pittsburgh, I realized howgrateful I was to have maintained my NASIGconnections during a time of change. As always, whenwalking into a NASIG event, I thought, “These are mypeople.”
