Educational inclusion in the physical education: reflections concerning the teaching formation

ThepresentMaster'sDegreestudyistheresultofaworkcarriedoutbetweentheyears2007and2008inpublicandprivateprimaryschoolsinSatilde;oCarlos,Satilde;oPauloState,withblindstudentsregularlyregisteredinelementaryandhighschoolsofthismunicipality.InthisworkwesoughttounderstandtheprocessofeducationalinclusioninPhysicalEducationclasswithblindstudentsinbasiceducation.ThemethodologyusedwasqualitativeresearchbasedonthephilosophicalprinciplesofPhenomenology.TheresultshaveshownusthattheprocessofinclusioninPhysicalEducationclassesisdifficulttoaccomplishduetobadteachingformationandpreparation.Theobservationscarriedoutalongblindstudentsalsodemonstratedhowunsatisfiedtheyarewiththetreatmentthattheirteachersprovide,speciallyabouttheirsharingonphysicalactivitiesandrecreationalsportswhichareplannedbyprofessionalswhoteachthiscurriculumcomponentinschools.OurreflectionsarethattheprocessofinclusionalsoinPhysicalEducationclasseswilllikelytakealongtimetohappeninallschools./font
