Configuraciones territoriales en el periurbano del partido de Florencio Varela

Florencio Varela district is divided into zones by the municipal law. Nevertheless, the limits established by the law do not strictly match with the edges defined by the interaction of demographic, social, occupational, and productive situations. The relationship among these different ways of space consumption is outlined in this study, focusing on two periurban neighbourhoods which spatial dynamics are distinguished from those that characterise the town and the surrounding horticultural area. The analysis approach is based on the use of information laid at radio levels and cartography produced within the framework of the Population Census 2010, and data obtained through a horticultural survey conducted in the year 2011.
