?ibila, Marko - Reliability and factor validity of some tests of basic and specific handball motorics of junior players

A group of 71 junior handball players, aged from 10 to 12 of four different Slovene clubs, was tested with a battery of 17 basic and specific motor tests, with the purpose of finding their reliability and factor validity. The reliability of the used tests is good, with the ex ception of the two tests of precision, whose reliability is inadequate. Factor analysis yielded a rather unexpected factor structure, mainly because of high projections of all test of explosive and elastic power of the muscles of the arms and legs and agility, on the first extracted dimension. The factor solution explained 70,4% of the variance of the system.
