As of April 1, 2017, Professor Kenji Yoshida was appointed sixth directorgeneralof the National Museum of Ethology. It has been fourteen years sincea director-general was appointed within the museum, when Naomichi Ishige(now Professor Emeritus) became the third director-general. In this interview,the Newsletter committee (NL), asked Yoshida about his life history and thefuture of Minpaku, which will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
