Winter green lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) is one of the most important grain legumes across the world, which plays a significant role in human nutrition as well as animal feed. Among the commonly consumed food legumes, lentil occupies in an important place for human nutrition in the Turkish sub-continent. The present research was conducted to determine the performance of some winter green lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) genotypes through evaluation of phenology, growth, yield and technological characteristics. Genotypes such as 'I?ik' (Aday), 'Kayi-91', 'Yusufhan', 'Ankara Ye?ilive Pul~(-1)1' were grown under the irrigation conditions of Beyazkule-Ceylanpinar, Turkey during 2014~(-1)5 growing season. Phenology such as days to 50% flowering and days to physiological maturity were varied significantly between 160 to 162 days and 201 to 204 days in of all genotypes. Similarly, yield and yield attributes viz., seed yields (varied from 209.7 to 279.8 kg da~(-1)), plant height (48 to 60 cm), branches plant~(-1) (3.8-5.8 branch- es/plant), pods plant~(-1) (37.5 to 78.0 pods/plant), the first pod height (17.1-28.0 cm), 1000 seed weights (28.4-60.7 g) were also varied for different genotypes. The technological properties were varied from 40.5-46.0 minutes for cooking time, 22.1023.58 % protein content and sieve analyzes ranged from 6 mm (0.0-27.95%), 5.5 mm (0.34-74-77), 4 mm (6.0-73.0) and below the sieve (0.81-26.69%). Among the genotypes, the genotype 'I?ik' (Aday) performed the best in terms of grain yield (279.8 kg da~(-1)), plant height, branches plant~(-1), pods plant~(-1), 1000 seeds weight, grain yield (279.8 kg da~(-1)) as well as acceptable technical properties. Therefore, the variety could be recommended under the irrigated condition in the region, and also may be used in the breeding program to develop a good variety.
