摘要

In this paper four different surface roughness parameters of two different flexo printing plates were measured. The main aim of the measurement was to establish the correlation between final developed surface roughness of solid printing areas and different production conditions. This measurement data is very important since it influences the further printing process. In the experiment two different flexo printing plates were used, one digital, with solvent developing process and the other conventional also developed using solvent. The production parameters which were varied were main exposure time and development conditions in order to establish the correlation between ISO surface roughness parameters and production conditions. The measurements were taken using the Portable Surface Roughness Tester TR 200. The result yield different surface roughness values for different plates and different values within plates but with changed processing.
