摘要

In this paper we propose 2D constellation design based on geometric latticefor circularly symmetric sources as it allows easier performance evaluation. GeometricZ2 lattice quantization of Gaussian source is analyzed. Constellation design provideslower energy for the same error probability. It enables more efficient data transmissionand energy saving for wireless systems. The exact error probability is also determined.
