Developing-world water utilities feel the pressure as the COVID-19 crisis bites

Water utilities based in developing countries are scrambling to counter the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As countries across Latin America, South Asia and Africa go into lockdown, their utilities are looking to learn from the successes and mistakes of those in China, Europe and North America in handling the outbreak (see GWI March 2020, P48).
