To improve tsunami forecasting, the satellite technologies, including geomatics, must be adapted to the complex physical nature of the tsunami preparation process. We have formulated a mathematical model of the seismo(S)-hydro(H)-electromagnetic(EM)-temperature(T) interaction(I) (SHEMTI) precursory process. Magneto-thermo-elasticity and magneto-hydrodynamic theories along with geophysical data were used. We have computed the SHEMTI process in a model seismically active lithosphere?¢????Ocean?¢????atmosphere domain and compared results with earlier measurements. Application for detection of tsunami precursors is discussed.
