The article proposes the fundamenting, from a practical point of view, of the FTA analysis in order touse the results for assesing the technical/technological risk, throughout the FMECA analysis. The casestudy stands from using the split shots, in the context of the FTA analysis, split shots that determine the most probable causes that lead to the TOP event, namely the common failure causes.
