摘要

Simulation of different physical phenomena using software programs is a way to understand and study those phenomena without needing of laboratory equipment. This paper proposes examples of simulation of operation of photovoltaic modules using PSpice simulation programs (version for PC (Personal Computer) SPICE program widely used in academia) and Matlab. The results of the study presented in this paper showed the possibility to predict, with very good accuracy, the behaviour of photovoltaic modules according to irradiation and temperature, knowing the value of short-circuit current density at a certain irradiation and temperature, using SPICE/Matlab/Simulink simulation models. Two real photovoltaic modules, such as BAUER BS 6MB12/250 W and QCELLS Q.PRO-G3 245 W, were used to illustrate the present study. The relative errors for the electrical parameters (the Isc current and the Voc voltage), show a very good concordance of the simulated values with those obtained experimentally and the simulated values against the catalog ones.
