Accuracy, interferences and their prevention in using portable Gluco-meters

Now these days there’s regular improvement noted in the development, working and in efficacy of gluco meters. Many companies are making gluco meters and are available in different designs and models. The aim of this study is to share the knowledge about accuracy measures, interferences in usage ofglucometersandequippingthereadersaboutpreventingfrominterferencesanderrorsfor accurateresults.Tohighlightaccuracymeasures,interferencesinusinggluco-metersandprevention intheusageofGluco-meters.Articleswithtitlesofaccuracy,efficacyandsafetyofglucometerswere searchedonPubMed,andGoogleScholar,findarticleswerescrutinizedforrequiredrelevantdataas related to objective of thisarticle. As thetechnologyisadvancingdaybydayandnewtechniquesfordataencodingandverificationare developing, also the non-invasive gluco-meters are in the market so there is need of original studies forverifyingthesimilaritiesanddifferencesinaccuracy,errorsandinterferencesamonginvasiveand non-invasivegluco-meters.
