China plays a crucial role in the global economy representing one of the key centersfor international trade and logistics. In the past two decades, the country has significantly developedits transportation system, including motor, rail, air, and water ways and pipelines. The majorlogistics terminals, logistics parks, and warehousing facilities have been built to enable domesticand global commerce. The prime development areas are located around the largest Chineseseaports. However, the current state of logistics infrastructure is still insufficient to providevalue added services in many areas across the country. The current research examines logisticsinfrastructure in China across its advantages, disadvantages, and perspectives.
