[3,4-Bis(2,3-di-chloro-phen-yl)cyclo-butane-1,2-di-yl]bis--(furan-2-yl-methanone) monohydrate

In the title hydrate, C26H16Cl4O4H2O, the cyclobutane ring carries two 2,3- dichlorophenyl and two furan-2-ylmethanone substituents. It subtends dihedral angles of 86.6 (3) and 37.3 (3) with the furan rings and 77.0 (5) and 77.0 (3) with the dichlorophenyl rings. In the crystal, molecules are linked via weak C— HO hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along the a-axis direction. Additional C—HO and C—HCl hydrogen bonds generate a threedimensional network of molecules stacked along the b axis.
