Since 2015, the IPU Training Unit has been providing ContinuingProfessional Development (CPD) to pharmacy techniciansthrough face-to-face workshops. On 18 November, we areadding Online CPD Courses for pharmacy technicians to ourlearning platform. These courses have been designed to engagethe learner using interactive on-screen content, quizzes, videopresentations and a final assessment where the learner canprint their own Certificate of Completion. By studying online,the learner chooses their own learning environment that worksbest for them. The learner is required to constantly interactwith the learning content and take notes which makes learningeasier and enjoyable leading to improved knowledge retentionat their own pace and at a time that suits. With the coursesbeing available online, students will be able to access them atany time – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
