摘要

Three novel Salicylaldehyde derived macrocyclic Schiff bases were synthesized and well characterized by Elemental analyses, IR, Mass and 1HNMR spectral data. The liquid-liquid extraction of metal cations (Ag+ and Cu2+) from aqueous phase to organic phase was carried out using these ligands. The effect of chloroform and dichloromethane as organic solvents over the metal picrate extraction was investigated at 25±0.1oC by using atomic absorption spectrometer.
