摘要

In this article, we studied the conductance measurement of alkenedicarboxylic acid containing ethenecontacting to the various metal electrodes by electrochemical jump-to-contact scanning tunnelingmicroscopy break junction approach (ECSTM-BJ). The single molecule conductance values of fumaricacid show the order of Cu濧g濧u, which is similar as conductance values of succinic acid. Aconsistent result is also found for trans--hydromuconic acid and adipinic acid. Those may attribute tothe similar electronic coupling between the molecule and electrode.
