The importance of imaging in the diagnosis of gastric diverticulum: a case report

Gastric diverticula (GD) are rare and are generally detected incidentally during routine diagnostic testing of the upper gastrointestinal tract. They can be congenital or acquired. GD may mimic other pathologies such as cyctic-necrotic tumoral masses. Multiplanar imaging plays an important role in detecting GD and differentiate them from other conditions. In this article, we present imaging findings of a patient with gastric diverticulum.
