摘要

This article intends to convey an overview of the contribution presented by representatives of society in healthcare conferences and in meetings of healthcare advisors with regard to improving national policies in the field of communication. Explaining the outlook and the circumstances that form the context for these contributions, the authors indicate the possibilities and limits for building democratic relations in the Latin American context in general and in Brazil in particular.
