Purpose: Herbs are widely used in the treatment of atopicdermatitis (AD) in Eastern Asian countries, and certain herbsregarded have anti-inflammatory properties that can helpwith AD. With the goal of developing a topical herbal agentfor AD, we conducted a systematic review of in vivo studies ofAD-like skin models for screening potential herbs.
