Over the last decade, there has been a slow shift towards themore active engagement of patients and families in preventing healthcareassociated infections (HCAI). This pilot study aimed to examine thereceptiveness of hospital patients towards a new empowerment toolaimed at increasing awareness and engagement of patients in preventingHCAI.
