摘要

Photocatalytic degradation of Acid Red 27 by nano ZnO has been investigatedunder different conditions. Optimum experimental conditions on catalyst amount,pH and dye concentration have beendetermined. Addition of some inorganic oxidizing species such as H2O2,K2S2O8 and KBrO3 up to a certainconcentration increases the rate of degradation. The photodecolourisation anddegradation kinetics are discussed in terms of Langmuir-Hinshelwood kineticmodel.
