A minimum wage solution to halving world poverty by 2015: A stakeholder approach

The UNDP has set Millennium Goalsincluding the halving of world poverty by2015. This was translated into reducing byhalf the number of people living in abjectpoverty. It is now considered that thesegoals are unlikely to be met at least forAfrica. We present the acute povertyexisting in many countries as failure ofexisting initiatives to reduce it.
