Talon Cusp/Dens Evaginatus of Anterior Teeth: A Case Report of A Developmental Dental Anomaly

Developmental anomalies affecting the teeth are often seen inthe oral cavity. Abnormalities in the physiological processes oftooth development lead to these anomolies. Talon cusp or densevaginatus of anterior tooth is one of the dental anomaliesaffecting the shape of a tooth, in which an accessory cusp likestructure projects from the cingulam area or cementoenameljunction.
