Goodcropestablishmentanditseffectonproductivityisoneofthemajorchallengesincropproduction.Toinvestigatetheeffectofseedprimingbyphysicaltechniquesonstandestablishmentandyieldofdelayedwheatsowing,twoexperimentswereconductedinTabriz,Iran.Wheatseedsweretreatedwithultrasound,laser,magneticfield,gammaandbetairradiationfor3.5and5min.andweresownon17Apriland2May,2013#45;2014.Alltheseedprimingtreatmentsimprovedthecoefficientofuniformityofemergencecomparedtonon#45;primedseeds.Seedlingvigorindexrespondedpositivelyandsignificantlytoseedprimingagents.Therewasnosignificantdifferenceamonglaser,gammaandbetairradiationswithrespecttotimefromsowingtoharvesting.Seedsprimedbymagneticfields,ultrasonicwavesandshorterexposuretimetogammairradiationhadhighchlorophyllinleaves.Therewasanon#45;significantdifferencebetweenseedyieldsfromsowingdatesof17Apriland2May,andtheyieldrangedfrom334gmsup#45;2/supaverageinthecontrol,laser,betairradiationsandlongerexposuretimetogamma,upto480.1gmsup#45;2/supinothertreatments.Seedprimingbymagneticfields,ultrasonicwavesandshorterexposuretimetogammairradiationcanbeeffectivelyusedtoimprovecropperformanceandyield,especiallyinlate#45;sownplants./font
