摘要

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a chronic and irre- versible neurodegenerative disease featuring deficits in cognitive performance, with memory impairment typically reported as the initial presenting complaint. Common treatments can not pre- vent or reverse the course of the illness, and new efforts in the development of therapy are critically needed. Recently, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), a non-invasive brain stimulation tool, has been proposed as a promising approach to improve the clinical manifestation of AD. In this study, we aimed to investigate the benefit of personalized rTMS targeting based on individual resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (RS-fMRI).
