Uncertainty in ASTM International Test Methods and ISO/IEC 17025

A new version of ISO/IEC 17025,general requirements for thecompetence of testing and calibrationlaboratories, was adopted in late 2017 (aprevious version was issued in 2005).The organization of the standard hasbeen revised, and some new topics andapproaches have been incorporated.Although the primary focus seems tofollow the main principles of the earlierversions, there are changes that may berelevant to ASTM Internationalstandards writers and users.
