Letter to the Editor on “Kidney transplantation: A new era of laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy in Indonesia.” Evolution of laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy for kidney transplantation

We read with great interest the article entitled “kidneytransplantation: A new era of laparoscopic living donornephrectomy in Indonesia” by Albertus Marcelino et al.1Authors aimed to evaluation surgical parameters and complications of the first 250 cases of laparoscopic living donornephrectomy (LLDN) at single institute of Indonesia.1 Inconclusion, LLDN had been performed successfully withimprovement of surgical parameter.1 Thus, laparoscopicapproach has entered a new era for kidney procurement inIndonesia.1 However, there are some suggestions that wewould like to comment about this article.
