Variability of the level of production and reproduction performances achieved by poultry in different cages of the two-level reproduction battery

A study was carried out, which dealt with the production and reproduction performances achieved by birds housed in different cages randomly placed on the two levels of the reproduction battery. The groups consisted of 30 females and 3 males. As a result of the analysis of data recorded for the studied traits, (laying intensity and egg fertility) separately for each cage, it was found that certain differences existed, due to the structure of the birds groups. The scored mean percentages ranged between 66.21 and 87.13% for laying intensity and between 87.66 and 97.70% for egg fertility
