Recurrent appendicitis is not as rare as the authors make it out.There are already a number of case series on the topic (Chang etal,Singapore Med J 2004, Savrin etal have published it as early as1979). Yours is a case report, not even a series. It does not add inanyway to the existing literature. Histopathology is the gold standard to diagnose appendicitis (as also mentioned by you), howeverthere is no mention of histopathology report in your manuscript.Recurrent appendicitis is even mentioned in surgical books asSabiston, and it is mentioned that the most common differentialfor RIF pain is appendicitis, even a recurrent one. Kindly alsomention references in Vancouver system with apt number legendsin manuscript. If the manuscript comes up with some informationrare and frequently missed, then it might be of value.
