Factors Affecting Adoption of Cloud Computing Technology in Technical Educations (A Case Study of Technical Institution in Meerut City)

Cloud Computing Technology is perceived by many as a n ew asset of Information technology for the IT companies, educational institution s, government sectors, etc. In the ever fast gro wing econom y apa rt from the challenges faced du e to recession, the educatio nal institutes find this a big hurdle as to how to provide necessary Inform ation technology support for educational activities and resea rch areas. Cloud Computing, the latest buzzword in IT sector, may co me to the rescue, as it can provide an easy and inexpensive access to the state of the art IT technology, softwa re and its applications. Cloud computing is a recent concep t that is still evo lving across the i nfo rmation technology industry and academia. Cloud computing is Internet (cloud) ba sed development and use of computer techno lo gy whereby dynamica lly scalable and often virtualized resources are provid ed as a service over the Internet. The main aims & Objectives of this resea rch pap er is to study the factors wh ich affect the adop tion of Cloud Computing Technology in a technical educational institutions, a case study of Engineerin g colleges in Meerut city(UP.). Questionnaire was used a data co llection tool and the results were ana lyzed by SPSS & R program for statistical ana lysis
