摘要

The economical and social development of any society is linked in the good quality fresh water readiness, in the conservation capacity and in the maintainable use of the hydric resources. The growing of the groundwater use it tends to increase moved by the current consumption needs of the society population increase as so by the financial advantages in relation to superficial waters, by the way polluted and lacking for non conventional and onerous treatments. Aquifers on different areas of the national territory are subject to the uncontrolled wells expansion impacts as so by the indiscriminate soil occupation, putting in risk the quality of the groundwater. The introduction of chemical substances (pesticide and other) on soil applications is a way to promote changes in that natural water reservoir. The present article contributes with the understanding of Três Lagoas/MS city groundwater dynamics, based on its hydrogeology and quality conditions. It alerts on the Bauru and Botucatu Formation fragility. Concluding, in spite of the verification that the pollutants absence do not commit seriously the quality of the municipal underground waters, this paper notices the potential great contamination risk of Botucatu and Bauru aquifers. In these exact area becomes blunt the industries textile, alimentation and cellulose paper and also the reception for the urban center de Três Lagoas
