Poluicao Difusa: Gestao e Simulacao da Qualidade da Agua de Bacias Hidrograficas (NonPoint Pollution: Management and Prevision of Water Quality in Watersheds)

摘要

The state of the art of nonpoint pollution is presented. The building up and transport mechanisms of pollutants in a watershed are explained and the procedures for pollution control are outlined. Several methods for the environmental impact assessment of water contamination by nonpoint sources are described. A procedure for the evaluation of nonpoint pollution in portuguese watersheds is proposed.
