We read with initial enthusiasm the paper by Fielding et?alsup1/sup in a previous issue of CHEST (February 2019). The introduction presents the lack of clarity regarding the timing and value of repeated assessment of both spirometry and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (F eno ). Unfortunately, the article is unable to clearly answer this question.
