摘要

In this stud y, Se 90 Te 7 Cu 3 chalcogenide glass were prepared using the melt quenching technique. The structure and kinetics of the crystallization reaction of amorphous composition were studied under nonisothermal conditions using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The characteristic temperatures of the studied chalcogenide glasses has been used to various thermal stability parameters (.T, H R , H W and S). From the heating rates dependence of values of T g and T p , the glass activation energy, E g , the crystallization activation energy, E c , the crystallization reaction rate constant K p and the frequency factor K 0 are derived. The average value of the Avrami exponent comes out to be 1.18, indicating that, the crystallization process takes place via one-dimensional growth with surface crystallization.
