Estadsticas del Servicio Dermatologa del Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud ES- de 1995 a 1999

Durante los aos 1995 a 1999 fueron atendidos en el servicio de dermatologa del CES en promedio 6870 pacientes por ao, de los cuales el 70% de ellos fueron mujeres. La procedencia de los pacientes fue constante en los diferentes centros de atencin siendo la mitad de los pacientes de Medelln y luego en su orden de Envigado, Itag, Sabaneta y otros municipios. Las primera cinco causas de consulta fueron acn, melasma, verrugas, insuficiencia venosa y en quinto lugar otras como dermatitis atpica, psoriasis, nevus y carcinoma basocelular. ABSTRACT During years 1995 to 1999, 6870 patients per year were taken care of in the service of dermatology of the CES in average, of which 70% of them were women. The origin of the patients was constant in the different centers from attention, being half of the patients of Medellin and soon in their order of Envigado, Itagui, Sabaneta and other municipalities. The first five causes of consultation were acne, melasma, warts, venous insufficiency and fifth place others like atopica dermatitis, psoriasis, nevus and carcinoma basocelular.
